🌱 Last Week Recap: Trying It Yourself
Last week, children took their first step into independence.
In Week 10 of the Chill Capy Goals Journal, children planned and completed a small challenge on their own. They practiced responsibility, consistency, and reflection.
Like Chill Capy carefully building the greenhouse piece by piece, children learned that small efforts can lead to meaningful progress.
They discovered something powerful:
“I can try things on my own.”
🤝 This Week: Better Together
Now the journey grows.
In Week 11, children take what they’ve learned and begin working with others.
This week invites children to ask:
“What can we do together?”
Week 11 introduces the Team Challenge — a shared activity completed with a sibling, parent, or friend.
Because while independence is important…
Teamwork helps us go further.

👥 Building a Team
Every great team starts with people.
Children begin by choosing who they will work with. This could be:
• a sibling
• a parent
• a friend
They can also create a fun team name and assign simple roles, such as:
• planner
• helper
• materials manager
This step helps children understand that everyone has a role to play.
🎯 Choosing a Team Challenge
Next, the team chooses something to work on together.
The challenge should be simple and fun, such as:
• baking something together
• building LEGO using instructions
• cleaning and organizing a space
• planting or gardening
Each person contributes in their own way.
Children learn that teamwork means sharing responsibility.
🧠 Planning Together
Before starting, the team makes a simple plan.
They decide:
• who will do each task
• what materials are needed
• when they will work together
Planning as a team teaches communication and listening.
Children learn that good teamwork begins with a shared plan.
✅ Taking Action as a Team
Once the plan is ready, the team begins.
Children track their progress together using a simple checklist.
They learn to:
• follow through on their role
• support each other
• stay on track as a group
Step by step, the challenge comes together.
💬 Reflection: Learning Together
After completing the challenge, children take time to reflect.
They think about questions like:
• What did we do well as a team?
• What was fun?
• What could we do differently next time?
Reflection helps children understand not just what they did — but how they worked together.
🎉 Celebrating Teamwork
Week 11 ends with a shared moment of celebration.
Children complete their journey with:
“Team Mission Complete!”
This moment recognizes:
• teamwork
• effort
• collaboration
Because success isn’t just about finishing —
It’s about working together along the way.
🌿 Growing Together
Week 11 focuses on:
• working with others
• sharing responsibilities
• planning as a team
• reflecting together
Children begin to understand something important:
“We can do more together.”
